1993

Magama Industrial Ltda was founded in 1993 with a focus on the preparation of natural products from the biodiversity of Amazonian raw materials.

1995

Magama Industrial starts its production unit for food-grade neutral ethyl alcohol, becoming the first company with a distillation and purification unit in northern Brazil.

1997

an industrial process of solvent extraction from plants and vegetables is implemented. Having as main product the guaraná (Paullinia Cupana) aimed at the soft drink market.


2003

Production techniques and processes developed in the company by the R&D program allow us to offer three new product lines with an Amazonian base; refined vegetable oils, essential oils, and standardized extracts.


2010

New investments have been made with the acquisition of synthesis reactors to offer products derived from regional fatty oils.


2015

Started to use the spray drying technology (Spray Dryer), with the purpose of providing food ingredients with bioactive compounds from the Amazon.

2020

Magama Industrial conquests the certification of its management system in the FSSC 22000-Q scheme, a high level of quality and food safety recognized worldwide.

2020

Facing the emergency scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic, Magama was engaged in producing alcohol gel for donations. All the volume produced was passed on to organs and entities in the state. A ton of alcohol gel was donated to the State Government. Magama was visited by the Legislative Assembly of Amazonas to receive a decoration in recognition of the services rendered to the Amazonian society.

2021

initiates the development of a process to concentrate bioactive compounds by nanofiltration molecular membrane system.
